As a Security Analyst at ADSNETON, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our digital assets and network infrastructures from potential threats. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of cybersecurity trends and tactics, and a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation. Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Security Analyst, with a deep understanding of security protocols, IT systems, and networking infrastructure.
  3. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
  4. Proficiency in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  5. Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
  6. Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Monitor computer networks for security issues, investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
    2. Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
    3. Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
    4. Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
    5. Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
    6. Stay current on IT security trends and news.
    7. Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
    8. Perform penetration testing.
    9. Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
    10. Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
