As a Network Engineer at ADSNETON, you will be integral to the team responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will work within a dynamic technical team to ensure the absolute reliability and performance of our network operations that are critical to business operations. Your role involves deploying, configuring, maintaining and monitoring all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation. This position will require a deep understanding of networking technologies and the ability to troubleshoot complex network problems effectively. As a Network Engineer at ADSNETON, you will be expected to offer proactive solutions and ensure the stability and security of corporate data and voice networks.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
  3. Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCDP) is preferred.
  4. Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
  5. Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  6. Thorough knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
    2. Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
    3. Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation.
    4. Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
    5. Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
    6. Attend to network faults and manage network upgrades.
    7. Investigate faults in the network and liaise with third-party support as necessary.
    8. Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
    9. Report network status to key stakeholders.
    10. Maintain complete technical documentation.
