Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in VoIP technology and network management.
  3. Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, QoS, codecs, and IP telephony technologies.
  4. Experience with VoIP systems such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or similar platforms.
  5. Knowledge of network troubleshooting and configuration including VLAN, QoS, and firewall settings.
  6. Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP Voice) is preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design and deploy VoIP components and networks, ensuring robustness and scalability.
    2. Configure and maintain VoIP systems and software including session border controllers, gateways, and application servers.
    3. Monitor VoIP system performance and make adjustments to hardware and software to enhance communication quality.
    4. Troubleshoot VoIP issues and provide solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
    5. Coordinate with network engineers and IT staff to ensure compatibility with existing network architecture.
    6. Implement security measures for VoIP infrastructure to protect against potential threats.
    7. Manage vendor relationships and handle the procurement of VoIP hardware and software.
    8. Conduct routine system audits and prepare detailed reports on system status and configuration.
    9. Train staff on new VoIP technologies and usage guidelines.
    10. Stay updated with the latest advancements in VoIP technology and recommend upgrades and improvements.
